1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using the Clear Cuts browser extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Extension.

2. Service Description

Clear Cuts is an extension designed to bring Excel-style keyboard shortcuts and productivity tools to Google Sheets. The Extension operates locally in your browser by injecting scripts into your active Google Sheets tabs.

3. Google Account Integration

Some advanced features (such as tracing precedents and dependents) require authenticating with your Google Account to access the Google Sheets API. You grant us permission to fetch the necessary spreadsheet data (read-only) for these features. As outlined in our Privacy Policy, this data is cached locally in your browser and never transmitted to our external servers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security-related features or in-app purchase mechanisms of the Extension.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Extension, except where such restriction is expressly prohibited by law.

5. Purchases and Refunds

Certain features may require a paid license. Payments are handled securely through our third-party payment processor. All sales are subject to our refund policy, which may be updated from time to time.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Extension will always function perfectly or be compatible with future updates to Google Sheets.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clear Cuts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Extension.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Extension following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
